For these love birds the children finger-painted white construction paper with red,pink and white tempera paint mixed with glitter. When it was dry they punched/cut out two mirror image birds. The wings and eyes were stamped with sponges and the beaks are tiny love hearts made with a scrap booking punch, glued in place with white glue and cotton buds.
